Bijou #1Completed: 3-4-2015Tangles: paradox, indy-rella Wow, these bijou tiles are small! I decided that paradox would be a good tangle to fill this with...and then I just got crazy...I did have to find my strong reading glasses. |
Tile #16Completed: January 2015Tangles: crescent moon, indy-rella, scena, shattuck My other Zenmate, Kelly, had a ball tangling on die-cuts, so she challenged me....and here it is! Just in time for us to get some real snow. :) |
Artist's Print #1
Completed: 6-16-2015Tangles: flowtus, fern, p feather, bud lite
Today, Lee taught us a little about print making. We first learned these tangles, then carved them into thin styrofoam (like meat trays). Then we rolled ink onto the foam tiles, placed them ink side down onto our paper (10 x 10), and used a roller to make sure all parts touched the paper. Once we peeled the tile off...wa-lah!
Trading Card #1Completed: 5-27-2015Tangles: Zenplosion folds, ribbon curve, lazy eights, crescent moon, knase/hibred Before doing Lee's student challenge, I practied A LOT with Zenplosion folds. As simple as it looks, my brain couldn't wrap around it. I started out doing hibred, but changed my mind as to how dark it was going to be (& red doesn't have as good coverage, IMO), so a made it a variation on knase or maybe the other way around? |
